The Foundry Paradise Valley

I have been going to The Foundry for several years now and have always enjoyed the classes. My only complaint is for classes scheduled back to back making it difficult for those that want to stay for more than one class. Last Saturday several students attended the Pilates class in the morning, followed by the 26 & 2 class. Because Pilates ended at the same time as the next class we all ended up joining a few minutes late, which I was informed today that we should not have been allowed to do. Even 5 minutes between classes so we can enjoy back to back classes without getting turned away would be great. I am disappointed I will have to cancel one of my classes this coming Saturday.

This is a legit bikram studio. Very knowledgeable teachers who give great instruction and really push you to get the most out of each session. However, the doors need to be locked the moment class is scheduled to start or preferably a few minutes before. Many show up well in advance to get a good spot for space/visualization and it’s extremely rude when people show up just as class starts or well after. Not only is it distracting and ruins the flow of class but it often forces everyone to have to move from their established spots they showed up early to get. Pretty simple rule my last studio in Chicago had in place: if you don’t show up on time, you don’t come into class.

I love this place! I have been to many Bikram yoga studios in AZ and other states and have yet to find one as special! Everyone is sooo welcoming & teachers are super-whether it's your first class or you've been going here for 11 yrs like myself. They have lots of room(unlike many other studios) with 2 top quality workout rooms and large changing room with many showers. Thanks Nichole and Todd!

I really enjoyed the classes here. I liked that the music wasn’t too loud and that the teachers were all very down to earth. My only complaint is that the room was not big enough for the amount of people they were trying to fit in. This often led to confusion and less space to practice certain moves. I also felt intensely sweaty in this room compared to other hot yoga experiences and I wonder if that may be in part due to over crowding. Good studio overall, they know their stuff and the classes are awesome.

I started coming here not for the 26x2 (aka Bikram, which is their core foundation) but for the Pilates and HIIT classes. The heated room is so good for the body and lymphatic system. Great way to increase cardiovascular health in a low impact way. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I have since expanded into their other class offerings of barre and vinyasa flow yoga. They have multiple studio locations around the valley and if you’re wanting to try a heated workout they should be your number one choice.
